Abstract EN

This research deals with an attempt to identify the political role of Minister Abi Ali al-Khaqani, and the conditions of the ministry during his reign during the caliphate of al-Muqtadir Billah al-Abbasid, who worsened the conditions of the caliphate in his days, and the affairs of his state were disturbed as a result of the policy he followed in appointing his ministers.

During his reign, about twelve ministers succeeded in addition to the caliph's reliance on some weak ministers who had no knowledge or experience in the affairs of the state, so administrative corruption spread, and bribery spread to obtain important positions in the Abbasid state, and shed light on the role of army leaders and rulers in appointing and dismissing ministers and ruling the state.
