Abstract EN

This study is "the prison experience in the poetry of Ali Ibn Al-Jahm", the Abbasid poet who went to jail twice, for his poems in prison represented two different models, the research explain that difference and its causes through studying his poems in prison, and standing on their meanings, and their verbal overtones, highlighting their most important artistic features and aesthetic implications, In addition to clarifying the most important motives that lead to the difference of his poems in his first imprisonment from those he said in his second imprisonment.

The research discover the impact of the prison experience on the poet after his release from prison, and tracks its impact on his poetry, The various stages that the poet went through as a result of that bad experience, and cites examples of his poems in each stage, and displays the technical features that distinguish them, in an attempt to understand the literary text and reveal its secrets.
