تهدف الدراسة إلى بيان الدلالات الزمنية المتنوعة لصيغة غير التام الإخبارية، و بيان أثر كلا من السياق و القرائن اللفظية التي تحيط بها، لإظهار مدى التنوع الزمني للصيغة الذي يشمل أربعة دلالات؛ هم: دلالة الزمن الماضي، و دلالة الزمن الحاضر، و دلالة الزمن المستقبل، و دلالة عموم الزمن.
وقد أفادت الدراسة من المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يقوم بتحليل البنية الزمنية لهذه الصيغة إلى مكوناتها الأساسية على مستويي الشكل والوظيفة الدلالية.
وقد أوضحت نتائج الدراسة شيوع استعمال "المضارع التاريخي" في سياق ما يعرف بـ"حكاية الحلم".
وتوصلت إلى حضور نادر لتركيب ይከውን፡ይፈዕል للدلالة على استمرارية وقوع الحدث في الزمن الماضي
Abstract EN
The study aims to indicate the temporal denotation of the Imperfect in the ge'ezian language.
In the old and new testaments, in addition to the book of Enoch, with the aim of variation in the verbal tenses which exceed the present tense to the past tense, the future tense, and the all-time tense, so the temporal denotation of the imperfect includes four sections, which makes the perception of this mood not limited to the denotation of the present and the future tenses. The results of the study show that the common use of the Imperfect in Praesens Historicum in the context of “dream report”.
The study found a rare presence of the structure ይከውን፡ይፈዕል to indicate the present-continuous tense.
