Tourism in the world today has become one of the economic activities more effective in achieving economic growth through its interconnected and complementary activities with other economic sectors such as industry and agriculture and supporting them with financial resources, as Iraq has a diverse tourism wealth, which is a factor that attracts tourism demand and tourism investment and is an important source in achieving growth Economic, .

This research aims to study and analyze the impact of tourism demand and tourism investment in promoting economic growth.

To achieve this objective, a econometrics approch was adopted a set of models (FMOLS, NLS and ARMA) and based on the available data for the period (1980-2020).

Finally, the research reached several conclusions, including that tourism demand and tourism investment lead to economic growth.

At the end, it is necessary for the government and the concerned authorities to pay great attention to the tourism sector by allocating a sufficient percentage of the government's budget for tourism investments as well as activate the role of the private sector to attract tourists and increase tourism demand by increasing the level of tourism services and diversifying them.
