Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the role of regional economic integration, which is considered a constructive tool to activate intra-trade by removing barriers and customs restrictions betweeen member states, This allows for the possibility of attracting development opportunities and foreign direct investment within the framework of the complementary process.

It was concluded that benefiting from the opportunities to attract economic development within the framwork of regional economic integration remains dependent on the ability of countries to adapt their economies to gain the ability to benefit from the current of openness and trade liberalization and thus integration into the global economy.
