From the end of the Second World War until the sixties, we witnessed the failure of several European attempts to build direct political and economic unity for Europe, but these attempts, despite their failure, helped pave the way for the emergence of other organizations that had the luck of succeeding in forming a union that includes most of the countries of Europe and unites them in several areas.

Perhaps the most important of them is economically, as Europe imposed itself alongside other international powers, in light of a set of internal and external difficulties and obstacles that afflict the Union and threaten its collapse.

This research paper aims to clarify the value of joint action and its role in achieving social peace and economic well-being, and we concluded that the European Union did not reach what it is now except after a difficult struggle in all fields.
