The appeal on a point of law is another way of reviewing the case by judges of the Supreme Court, through the gathering of a set of conditions and reasons that lead to the acceptance of the appeal.

Maghreb (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia) legislation agreed on this principle as an exceptional way to consider the case on the other hand.

However, they defer between them in terms of procedures instituting the case and the competent authority to consider the appeal depending on the specificity of each legislation and the composition of its legal system.

Accordingly, the most important points of similarity and difference between these legislations were studied in order to extract points of strength and weakness in each legislation, and to strengthen the Algerian experience in the field of legal duplication, which witnessed new horizons in light of the new constitutional amendment of 2020.
