The Algerian legislator attaches great importance to the fight against commercial fraud by ensuring the safety of products offered to the consumer and the ence of any defect that may pose risks to his physical safety and interests.

However, the legislator's access to this goal can only be achieved by betting on punitive deterrent sanctions through the use of criminal sanctions rules of all kinds in the face of fraud and deception crimes stated under the Penal Code, andthrough the prevalence of Financial penalties over the most prominent crimes contained in the Consumer Protection and Fraud Suppression Law.
