Abstract EN

This research paper aims to highlight the reality of economic diversification and the development of exports outside hydrocarbons in Algeria.

The observer of the developments of the Algerian economy notes the dominance of the hydrocarbon sector and the great dependence on its revenues.

In order to get out of this dependence and make its economy more diversified, it had to promote promising sectors.

The experiences of some leading countries in economic diversification were highlighted, which Algeria can benefit from to achieve its goals in developing and diversifying its exports outside fuel hydrocarbons.

The main conclusions drawn by this study were that: ohowever, despite all the efforts undertken by the state of Algeria to acheive economic diversification, but the attampt failed, because Algeria have not been able to develop their exports outside hydrocarbons, which represent a small percentage by comparison with exports hydrocarbons which amounted to97% by endof2011, besides, the export in Algeria run a lot of obstacles which need to find solutions for them.
