Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the attitudes of the Egyptian university students towards the uses of distance online learning applications during the Coronavirus pandemic using the analytical research method.

A survey was conducted on a sample of 200 male and female Egyptian university students, to measure their attitudes towards the uses of distance online learning applications.

The study found that the attitudes of Egyptian university students towards the use of distance online learning applications were positive.

Additionally, the study revealed that there is a statistically significant difference between the attitudes of the Egyptian university students towards the uses of distance online learning applications, and the difference is attributed to the following variables: gender, academic major, and university ownership.

The study concluded that Microsoft teams is the best online learning application used by Egyptian university students during the pandemic.

The study recommends that social consciousness should be developed among university students about the significance of using distance online learning applications in the course syllabus, additionally, curricula and teaching methods should be updated to cope with the needs of the new learning model, and finally, workshops should be organized for students and faculty on the efficient use of distance online learning applications.
