In this paper, we try to monitor the shifts that have occurred in the idea of Speech act, from its appearance with John Austin and its completion with Searle, and the contributions of Paul Grace, to the emergence of a combined deliberative and argumentative Act theory with Decro, and the textual act as well as the compound presented by Van Dyck and Klaus.
