Abstract EN

Our current study aims to reveal the level of depression of children with diabetes mothers, given that the mother is more likely to be depressed after receiving the news of her son's disease.

Where we relied on the clinical approach, as we relied on the semi-directed clinical interview technique, and we applied the “Beck” test for depression in the interest of pediatrics at the University Hospital “Muhammad Nadir” and it became clear that the level of depression varied between severe and moderate levels, and this is due to a number of the factors that are a direct cause of mother's depression in all its degrees, the most important of which are: social factors, marital and family problems, in addition to economic factors, and low family income.
