In 2019, the Algerian people came out to the street demanding comprehensive reforms, and the Authority responded with many radical changes, including those related to the process by amending the elections organic law and creating the independent national authority.

The legislator has just been provided by the process of preparing, organizing, and managing, impartially and independently, the electoral process in all its phases for all upcoming elections.

The electoral independent national authority initiates its work by organizing the presidential elections scheduled for December 12, 2019 basing on the powers conferred upon it by the Constitution and its organic law and the electoral system organic law.

Hence, this has created a quantum leap forward the establishment democracy principles in Algeria
