This research deals with the study and analysis of the construction of the paradox in the play (The Virtuous Dustbin) by the Saudi playwright Abbas Al-Hayek, and is concerned with tracking the patterns of paradox in this distinguished theatrical text.

The research is concerned with analyzing these patterns and accessing them to the writer's vision and skill in forming paradoxical structures in the play and highlighting the contradictions and contrasts between the world of the play's characters who represent a segment of the marginalized and the material world that shocked them in their dreams and hopes.

It is free from evil, oppression and injustice.
