The main title received considerable attention in linguistic, textual and critical studies as an important textual threshold and parallel text that helps to understand the narrative text and provides a picture of it before the reading process, and send it on.

The studies dealt with the title from different aspects including its phonetic composition, the composition of its words, and the implications of the choice of its vocabulary.

The research follows this trend through theoretical content at the main title threshold, which is applied to Taher Wattar's novels through a stylistic study that envisages the phonological, synthetic, and semantic aspects of its main titles.
