Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the role of physical and recreational sports activities in the development of some social values in the extra-curricular activity of intermediate school students.

And we have relied in our research on the descriptive approach for its suitability to the nature of the research, as the research community was represented by students of the intermediate stage of some of the averages of the state of Oran and the research sample consisted of (200) students, and they were chosen randomly, and the field study, a questionnaire was distributed.

The results obtained are that the physical and recreational sports activities have a role in developing some social values in the extracurricular activity of intermediate school students, including good manners and courage.
