ترسخت علاقة المغرب العربي بالمشرق تاريخيا فكانت علاقة اجتماعية و ثقافية قبل العشرينات من القرن 19 م، و بداية من الثلاثينات أصبحت العلاقة ذات طابع سياسي تعززت على مر الزمن لتعطي في النهاية و عيا "قوميا" للمغاربة دفعهم للاهتمام بالمنطقة العربية بكاملها بشكل عام، و بالقضية الفلسطينية بشكل خاص.
و فكرة تأسيس مكتب للمغرب العربي في مصر لم تنشأ من العدم بل هي نتيجة تراكم العديد من الأنشطة الفكرية و التنظيمية لشباب مغترب أحس بهموم وطنه، و لذلك فلا غرابة في أن يمثل أعلى مظهر من مظاهر التجسيم التنسيقي للفكرة الوحدوية، إذ انصهرت فيه حقيقة العمل الوطني المشترك، الذي من خلاله يتنادى زعماء المغرب العربي آنذاك إلى تحركات مشتركة كان لها الأثر الإيجابي في تفعيل و تجسيد الوحدة المغاربية التي تدعمت بعد حرب 1948 و تأسيس جيش تحرير المغرب العربي.
Abstract EN
There was a historical relationship between the Maghreb and Mashreq which back to 1920s.suddenly they felt the need to pay attention to the entire Arabic And Palestinian region.
The idea of establishing an office for Maghreb in Egypt was not created consequently paved the way to many intellectual and organizational activities of expatriate youths to compassionate for their landhome.that represents a great manifestation of coordinated incarnation of the unitary idea.
But got failure.
Therefore the leaders then called for another strategy to strengthen the Moroccan unity that had been strengthened after1948war and its establishment of the Maghreb Liberation Army
