Abstract EN

This research attempts to present a critical study, on the foundations on which Sheikh Jalal Al-Hanafi's efforts were based, in refining and re-codifying the Arabic proposals, in his book (Al-Awdaat, his refinement and re-writing), and the results of those efforts.

Efforts of contemporary scholars, researchers and critics, seeking to present the new and advanced in the field of Arabic prosody, so that this science is in harmony with the changes of the times, and shakes off the dust of closure and stagnation.

Opinions of the poets about the complexities and difficulties of performances, the stages of poetic cutting, between facilitation and difficulty, types of poetic weights, and poetic evidence of Sheikh Hanafi, then the conclusion came to include the findings of the research.
