إهتمت السلطات الإستعمارية بالبحث عن المخطوطات الموجودة في الجزائر في إطار الحملات التي شملت مختلف الولايات فجمعت ما أمكنها الحصول عليه من خلال السيطرة على المكتبات، و كلفت عددا من الشخصيات بوضع التقارير حولها و إبراز أهميتها مع ترجمة و تحقيق الكثير منها.
وقد كانت المجلة الإفريقية مجالا لنشر مقالات و دراسات المستشرقين الفرنسيين حول العديد من المخطوطات التي تم الوصول إليها، و هو ما مكن من التعريف بالعديد من المخطوطات التي كانت مجهولة، و رغم أن بعض هذه المخطوطات أصبحت مفقودة لغاية وقتنا الحالي إلا أن هذه الدراسات و رغم سليباتها مكنت من التعريف بتلك المخطوطات، وعليه سنحاول من خلال هذه الورقة البحثية التعريف بالمخطوطات العربية التي درسها و حققها المستشرقين من خلال المجلة الإفريقية
Abstract EN
The colonial authorities were interested in searching for manuscripts in Algeria as part of campaigns involving various states, collecting what they could obtain through the control of libraries, and assigned a number of personalities to report on them and highlight their importance with translation and realization of many of them.
The African Magazine has been an area for publishing articles and studies on many of the manuscripts that have been accessed, which has enabled the identification of many manuscripts that were unknown, and although some of these manuscripts have become missing to this day, these studies have enabled, despite their disadvantages, to be made known.
