The current research aims to identify the impact of the constructivist Yakr model on the achievement of first-grade students in average social studies) and to verify the goal of the research, the researcher formulated the following null hypothesis: They study the social subject according to the constructivist Yaker model, and the average achievement scores of the control group students who study the same subject according to the traditional method of achievement test.

The researcher chose the experimental design (with partial control), representing the research community of government secondary and middle school students in the district of Baquba, the center of Diyala governorate.

The experiment was applied in the second semester of the academic year (2019-2020 AD), as the actual teaching started on Sunday (16/2/2020 AD) and ended on Thursday (16/4/2020 AD), with a duration of (8) weeks and an amount of Three lessons per week for each group.

The researcher used the appropriate statistical methods.

The results showed that the students of the experimental group who studied according to Yakr's constructivist model were superior to the students of the control group who studied according to the traditional method in the post-achievement test.

Through the results of the research, the researcher concluded a set of conclusions, including: -1.

The use of Yakr's constructivist model in teaching social studies is in line with the requirements of modern education and scientific development.2.

Teaching using the constructivist Yakir model in the subject of social studies has an effect on increasing the achievement of average first-grade students compared to the traditional method.

In light of the results of the research, the researcher recommends the need to use the Yakr constructivist model in teaching social studies, and to hold training courses for female and male social teachers on how to use modern teaching models, including the constructivist Yakr model.

The researcher suggested conducting a similar study to show the effect of the constructivist Yakr model on other variables, for other stages of study and in other subjects and on both sexes, as well as conducting comparative studies between the constructivist Yakr model with other teaching models.
