The value influences in the field of social upbringing are one of the most prominent of these influences due to the distinctive features and the many characteristics that the new media have acquired, which have increased their influence on members of the public of various age groups and levels of scientific, educational, economic, intellectual and cultural.

And online journalism is one of the new media that has emerged as a result of the expansion of Internet applications and whose use has increased by large groups of the public, making it an influential media outlet due to the wide and increasing exposure to it.

The research works to study the role of Iraqi online newspapers in spreading and promoting the values of social upbringing.

Among community members, by conducting a survey study on a sample of Iraqi online newspaper users, in order to determine this role.
