The study aims to light on the political marriage in the Seleucid kingdom, its motives and what preceded it in tems of negotiations and their results and the effect of this on the relationship of the Seleucids with the neighboring kingdoms.

and the study follows these political Intermarriage since the reign of Slouqus the first, through several intermarriage in the era of kings Antiochus the I,II and last III, and other kings until the end of the the marriage during the reign of king Antiochus IX,X, and the study also aims to track the ramifications of those intermarriage on the kingdom of the Seleucids.
