Abstract EN

The story of the great companion al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah, may god be pleased with him, who bribed the slave of Umar ibn al-Khattab, may god be pleased with him; to make it easier for him to enter upon Umar, and his recognition of that, saying: “I am the first to be bribed in Islam,” is one of the stories mentioned in some historical sources-in the translation of al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah, may god be pleased with him-and non-historical.

I have prepared this research for her; to clarify its truth, and to determine the extent of its authenticity, I made its title "the innocence of al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah, may god be pleased with him, from the accusation of bribery".

I spoke in it about the story as it was mentioned in the heritage books, then I criticized the narrations that contained a chain of narration and death, and I concluded that it is a weak narration and a solid foundation, and it has no basis in truth; this is for the reasons mentioned in the research.

and thus prove the innocence of this great companion of this heinous accusation.
