This study aims at high lighting effective role of the dissolved Algerian people's party during world war II.

the party's members entered an under cover stage and took advantage of Nazi propaganda to contact the axis with a view to obtain assistance, the Allies' landing in North Africa had a role in encouraging the National Movement.

This event was uniquely placed to get messages across to the demands of the Algerians at the initiative of Farhat Abbas, who contacted People's Party and the Muslim Scholars Association, MSA, which had led to the issuance of the Algerian statement in 1943 at its meeting in Algiers, and the party's role in establishing the movement of friends of the manifesto and liberty, in 1944, the party's strong impact is evidenced through the Algerians peace march on may 8, 1945.
