because, heritage is a part of the overall culture of societies, it affects its thought and behaviour.

Abu Shallakh al Barmaei" novel is based on recruiting popular heritage.

the novelist, (Abu Shallakh al Barmaei) represents the main and intellectual character who is knowledgeable of worldwide affairs, but that is not reflected on his thought and his way of problem-solving, since he lives in two overlapping worlds: the world of reality, and the fictitious superstitious one in some of its aspects.

the research consists of an introduction about its significance, questions, methodology, and an explanation of the heritage concept followed by a number of aspects related to recruiting language, popular proverbs followed by popular poetry, superstitious tales in addition to some elements of popular environment, ended by the conclusion and references.
