The study of environmental crimes in Sudan - the forest sector as a model, aimed to shed light on the types of environmental crimes in the forest sector in Sudan and to identify the problems of Sudan’s forest resources and the measures taken against the perpetrators of these crimes.

The study used a number of multiple approaches, including the causal approach, the image approach, the integrated geographical vision, and the regional approach And the inductive approach, and the study adopted reports and books related to the subject of the study, and the study reached a number of results, which are that there are many environmental crimes in the forest sector due to the lack of protective cadres and the weakness of their practical activity in those forests in Sudan and the absence of institutionalization and appeal to sectarian whims in clearing forests and changing the forest goals Cultivation or construction The absence of the polluter law aims to reduce and mitigate the severity of the damage or not to repeat it again.

The study reached a number of recommendations that would contribute to the activation and development of the forest sector in Sudan, such as the use of environmental guidance, the activation of the environmental tax law, and the establishment of a justice unit represented in environmental police forces, as well Environmental Infringement Prosecution Agencies and Specialized Courts An article detailing those encroachments and environmental crimes in order to sustain forests under these critical conditions.
