Jacques Derrida's strategy in his criticism of the sign, whether in its linguistic concept of de Saussure or its historical philosophical concept, is based on dismantling the system of western thought based on the metaphysical foundation laid down by "Aristotle" in the past, and that led to the building of a comprehensive culture, based on oneness of thought instead of pluralism.

this western metaphysical conception is structurally manifested, on the linguistic level, in its presentation of speech over writing, in other words, in its presentation of the power of presence over absence, the power of certainty over possibility, and the power of similarity over difference.
