Dewey is an example of the validity of the theory that man is the product of the environment in which he lives.

He has gathered from his patriarchal heritage, the territory in which he grew up, the education he received in his modernity, the professors he sought knowledge of, the nation he was a member of, The period in which he was born and grew up in his arms, the philosophical tendencies and the scientific trends that have become stronger and intensified, especially the trend toward industrialization and the subsequent workers' advocacy of their rights and the descent of women into the field of work, and the rapid and consequential change that resulted in society, Religion and art - all these factors contributed to the formation of John Dewey was the result of this cultural and civilizational environment.

One of the factors that influenced Dewey was the ideas of philosophers, scientists and educators who contacted them personally or through their writings.

One of the most prominent contacts was influenced by their ideas: George Morris, one of his professors of philosophy, and then a fellow of teaching at the University of Michigan.

(1809-1882), Thomas Haxley (1825-1895), and others, became a favorite of her on the philosophy of Hegelian, because they agree with his experimental scientific tendencies, but that did not He traces the impact of ideal philosophy.

His own specific philosophy (exemplary empirical philosophy) is clearly evident.

He also influenced the ideas of Charles Pierce and William James, who were credited with establishing pragmatism in the United States, Stanley Hall's ideas, and some ideas: Russo, Bastalutzi, Herbert, and Noble, and other modern educators and psychologists.
