Wahb bin Munabih is considered a Yemeni follower, a well-known devout with knowledge of the literature of the pioneers and the people of the holy books, and to him refers most of the Israeli writings that were scattered in Islamic literature, as well as his knowledge of the Arab news before Islam, Yemen and the ancient Arab people.

This was due to his mastery of four languages, Arabic, Syrialic, Hebrew and Hamyriyat.

His works were directed towards forming a world history including the stories of the prophets, the hadiths of the Prophet, the hadiths of the peopl of Israel, the Book of Destiny and the crowns in the news of the kings directed from the Hamyriate and the latter is a mixture of Israeli and Yemeni stories.

However, he did not specifically mention the titles of his sources, as well as the lack of the appearance of many foundations in his works.

Therefore, narrators had rarely quoted from those resources, unlike the other city followers.

His writings appeared as the structure of his information in a fictional style similar to the stories of the days before Islam, which are literary writings that dominated the superstitious style and lacked the sense of historical perspective as well as the wide imagination in the stories and news, but at the same time, Wahab is considered a source for those who want to review Biblical and Talmudic studies in that era as he took notes of the books of the Old and New Testaments.

He had had a great impact on the involvement of the Israeli quotations in history, biography and interpretation, in addition to introducing a historical story style to history, and in this way he is considered the first to establish a structure, even if it was a narrative, of history from the beginning of creation until the time of the Prophet and its influence on those who came after him such as Al-Tabari, Al-Masoudi, AlYaqoubi and Al-Maqdisi was obvious, and he owned the credit of establishing a historical school, especially in Yemen, that had an impact on Islamic history.
