The specialization of the criminal judge is one of the basic and most important issues in achieving criminal justice, and that advocacy has become a necessity of modern criminal policy, especially after the multiplicity of sciences and their diversity, ramifications.

Subsequently, the development of patterns of criminal behavior.

As well as the criminal is no longer as in the past who owned a simple thought, now he has been practicing sophisticated methods of criminal behavior.

By considering the materials and personal aspects of the crime requires the desire, preparation and qualification of a specialized judge with the forensic and procedural aspects of the criminal law such as criminology, punishment, forensic science, judicial psychology, forensic medicine, philology and other sciences related to criminal law in order to be able to accurately assess the evidence and determine the punishment to ensure the reform of the offender and prevent him from future crimes.

In this research, the most important results is that the Iraqi legislator did not take the subject of criminal specialization in a necessary manner but authorized the specialty and he should have provided for the specialty of the judge of the criminal importance of access to criminal justice.
