This study aims to analyze the indicators of tourism in Algeria by diagnosing the tourism components of the natural, historical, hotel and legislative infrastructures.

We also seek in this paper to analyze indicators of tourism competitiveness at the local and international levels to know the extent to which the Algerian authorities implement the requirements of tourism development in light of the tourism plans.

The study concluded that Algeria is rich in many distinctive natural tourism potentials, but it suffers from a severe shortage of hotel tourism structures and the low level of all tourism indicators locally and internationally, which negatively affected the process of tourism development plans due to their ineffectiveness, especially the Master Plan of Tourist Development 2030.
