Abstract EN

This study aims at highlighting the policy of agricultural support in Algeria and its impact on the local development in the governorate of Tebessa, through identifying the stages of development of the different types of the support policy that the state has adopted since independence to achieve the aims of the development policies in the agricultural sector.

The results revealed that Algeria relied on a set of measures to support the agricultural sector; such as financial institutions, funds specialized in financing the agricultural activities and the agricultural extension program.
