Abstract EN

This study deals with the Sudanese personality, its origins and characteristics, as determinants for dealing with the Corona pandemic, the study starts with an introduction, followed by aparagraph on the meaning of culture,the discussion goes on to elaborate on the concept of personality ,the concept of health and health behavior, and the sources of sudanese personality , the study concludes that the sudanese personality is characterised with some features that negatively affect protective health behavior against the Covid 19 virus,there features are either of nomadic pastoral roots , or mystical religios ones ,the most important features that impede healthy behavior are cooperation , sympathy ,close housing, strict adherence to customs and traditions, rebellion against system ,laws and regulations ,excessive and passive fatalism ,tendency to belive and disseminate rumors and superstitions, traditional religiosity and hih political awareness
