Abstract EN

The right to digital oblivion is one of the emerging rights imposed by technological development, which has become a legitimate requirement in the face of the growing process of collecting, storing and processing data related to the private life of individuals, as the benefit of this right is that such private data should be kept out of public access as long as it is not related to the public interest or public life.

This study is aimed at highlighting the extent to which Moroccan legislation is influenced by the content of this right, by trying to clarify the most important contents that concern individuals the right to enter their private data into digital oblivion in Moroccan legislation and to assess the effectiveness of these contents in light of the diversity of the field of application of the idea of the right to digital oblivion.
