Abstract EN

This paper tries to explain and analyze the approach taken by the UN Security Council - the main UN executive organ - while handling the phenomenon of terrorism, in light of the international changes and the rules of international legitimacy.

The paper also focuses on some prominent UN Security Council attempts in handling terrorism, as well as shedding some light on the methods implemented in exercising its competence in this regard.

The study will end with producing an estimation of the results of such approach.
