Abstract EN

This research aims to identify the role of the security institution represented by the police in economic development in Palestine.

The research also aims to declare the relationship between security and economic development.

Researchers used a descriptive and analytical approach to describe data and variables.

The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which was that economic and social development cannot be achieved without providing security and that there is no development without security.

The study recommended the necessity of strengthening the relationship between the police security establishment and civil society.

And changing the negative idea of security and not restricting the function of security to controlling only, that is beside integrated coordination between all Palestinian institutions to achieve comprehensive economic development.
