This research sheds light on some Mesopotamian myths that were the basis for building many nations for their cultural heritage, by quoting many stories and epics produced by Mesopotamia, especially in the field of religion, which was the first drive for these civilizational achievements, which formed a solid base in building political entities.

It was in its early beginnings as a priesthood, considering that the king in the first societies was a priest.

This research highlights the Hebrews' impersonation of many parts of the Babylonian flood story contained in Tablet eleventh of the Epic of Gilgamesh in their bibles, especially since they were part of the Rafidian community after being exposed to captivity by the Assyrians and Babylonians, and in light of the great freedom they enjoyed in Babylon that helped them to see the sources Indigenous to this civilization.

They attributed many of its achievements to them in their sacred texts, for this study highlights the similarities between the aforementioned epic and what is mentioned in the biblical Genesis book.
