During the Zayani Era, the city of Tenès gave birth to many scholars, who contributed in stimulating and developing the scientific movement inside and outside Maghreb in different fields, such as teaching, writing, and authorship, or through exercising other functions like; judiciary, advisory, and diplomatic representation.

Therefore, through these Honourable contributions, Tlemcen could witness a flourishing scientific and civilizational movement.

It was the most important center of cultural expansion in Maghreb.

The scholars of the Tennessee House were the brilliant example.

So, what is this House? And who are the most prominent scholars? How was their scientific position among their contemporary scholars? What were their most important contributions to the scientific movement manifested inside and outside the Maghreb in the rest of the Islamic countries?
