: This research aims to identify the role and efforts of Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad bin Qalawun in the architecture of Jerusalem and the Dome of the Rock.

It is the city of the prophets in which Islam came confirming their messages, and it is the land that God Almighty has blessed, and it is the first of the two qiblah and in it is the third of the two sanctuaries.

The historical research methodology was used by defining the title of the research and its sub-topics, identifying the sources and references of the research and previous studies, and then examining, critiquing, analyzing, discussing, and interpreting information and data to serve the research, and then tabulating the information and reaching many results Among the most important of them, that Jerusalem witnessed a wide urban movement as a result of Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad bin Qalawun's interest in building and reconstruction, and carrying out many reforms and restorations in religious places, so specialists and researchers should study life in its various aspects in Jerusalem in different eras, especially the Ottoman era, which witnessed the beginning of ambitions colonialism in it.
