Scientific research in general, and in the humanities and social sciences in particular, have a big importance to States and societies, as it plays an unprecedented role in the evolution of scientific research through the use of analytical methods and tools that allow the discovery of new facts.

Scientific research follows several steps that ensure its proper and effective preparation.

The most notable of these is the formulation of hypotheses of research as an initial or advance guess or answer to the problem at hand.

In order to study the subject of this research and the importance of hypotheses in the humanities and social sciences, their place in scientific research and the achievement of the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was followed and the study was organized according to several basic points.

It first addressed the concept of scientific research and its relevance to societies.

In the second phase, she addressed the definition and characteristics of hypotheses by talking about situations, types of hypothesis, how they were formulated, their importance and benefits, their relationship with strengthening with field examples, and their contribution to new theories.
