Abstract EN

The essay talks about the emergence of linguistics with languages as its topic, and following the development of this world through focusing on the descriptive process to applied looking for finding solution to different problems that face languages.

We choosed this essay as a brief of this develops of the evolution that the field of linguistics knew up to this day.

So we decide to divide it to three detectives : the first one is a key to understanding the language consider it as a topic of linguistics, through three axes we evocated the issue of language in Arabic heritage and modern linguistics.

The second one we set it to transmission of linguistics to applied through two axes: the first one deals with the emergence of applied linguistics while the second one deals with emergence of independent specialities inside the social linguistics .

Whilst the third detective we focused on two concepts: Linguistic policy and Linguistic planning through partial axes, we introduced these two concepts thru with the context of their emergence, as well their aims and the relation between them .

Whereas the conclusion of this essay we mentioned the most important conclusions and results only, hope that the essay refers to the importance of the following of development of linguistics, for what it's important to keeping up with modern theories and contribute in employ them for what serves the Arabic Language, and overcome today's problem
