This study seeks to monitor the dimensions of the critical consciousness producing literary writing among the Algerian critic and writer Walid Khaldi through his prose texts in his book entitled "Body Flares", which is an awareness that combines his cultural space with his prose achievement; He was moved from his sense that literature is an important factor and revealing of reality in all its dimensions, so he began to practice creativity inundated with criticism in its deepest and most original form, and his book draws to a high degree the very special relationship between his criticism and his creativity Writing for him was not generated from a vacuum, but rather subjective and objective factors that interacted with each other.

His critical works prompted the creation of an innovation to be harvested.
