This paper aims to approach the art of caricature from exploring its first roots that go back to ancient times in human history.

Where the ancient human being used to draw on the walls of caves, as a way to express his daily concerns and his attitudes towards the events that occurred around him.

Passing through the dismantling of the nature of the relationship between these drawings and the characteristics that characterize the caricature today as we see it on the pages of newspapers and Internet sites.

And that is by trying to answer two questions: What is the nature of the relationship between ancient human drawings and caricature as we know it today? How was this art able to develop and simplify its expressive power within the public space?
