Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight extent of the contribution of desert agriculture to achieving sustainable agricultural development in Algeria by studying the reality of the sector in the wilaya of Adrar during the period (2015-2020).

The study found that the agricultural sector contributed significantly to providing significant quantities of plant and animal products, which led to achieving self-sufficiency in the state and providing job apportunities for many unemployed, add to that the preservation of the environment through the use of modern technologies in irrigation and pumping water.
