The success of the institutions depends on studying all the factors affecting and affected by the financial decisions taken at the level of management, whether internal or external, and building the financial structure is one of the most important of these decisions, and through this study we seek to determine the factors affecting its behavior in Algerian small and medium enterprises using the method of discriminatory factor analysis, It concluded that both guarantees and liquidity in addition to the variable of financial independence and the variable of size, the investment policy are the determining factors of the financing behavior of the institutions under study, and this result is consistent with some theoretical approaches that explain the financial structure.
