Abstract EN

This study aims to determine the role of public spending in achieving economic stability in Algeria during the period 1990-2017.

By measuring the effect of the public spending variable on indicators of economic stability represented by the Caldor box for the objectives of the macroeconomic policy, as well as studying the development of public expenditures and the extent of their impact on macroeconomic indicators Economic growth rate, inflation rate, unemployment rate, and balance of payments status.

This study used joint integration models where the Johansen methodology was applied to test the relationship of joint integration and the error correction model.
