This research aims to highlight the effective role of the tourism sector, and tourism entrepreneurship in particular in tourism development, and to highlight the tourism sector contribution to the economic and social development in Algeria, where it was based on the descriptive approach, Based on the mention of the most important concepts and different definitions of the study subject, This research has found that tourism entrepreneurship in the present era is of great importance in achieving economic and social development in many countries, unlike Algeria, which, despite its late focus on tourism investments in national development plans, has not paid as much attention compared to other sectors.
