Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the reality of Islamic microfinance in Sudan during the period 2010-2019 and analyze the experience of Faisal Islamic Bank in Islamic microfinance.

This study found that Islamic microfinance finances small projects through a variety of financing formulas that compatible with the principles of Islam.

Sudan is consedred a pioneer in the field of Islamic microfinance especially Faisal Islamic bank which paid great attention to this sector.

This study recommends diversifying Islamic microfinance methods and finding financing mechanisms commensurate with the specificities of small projects.
