Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the role of waste recycling in the application of cleaner production, as the reason for the large amount of waste is due to the inefficiency of production processes, and therefore it is the responsibility of companies today to focus on raising the level of the production process and the application of pollution prevention mechanisms that include removing or reducing waste before its accumulation.

Waste recycling is one of the most important methods of reducing costs resulting from transporting, storing and treating waste so as to achieve economic returns from its reuse.

The study concluded that TREFISOUD company partially applied waste recycling, which was embodied through its investment in new machines that contributed significantly to reducing the volume of its waste, and helped it to safely deal with solid and hazardous waste and use appropriate methods of recycling or disposal.
