The issue of inequalities has long interested decision-makers and is the subject of their public debate.
In Algeria, the development gaps between the regions, underline significant territorial ruptures at the national level, which evolve according to trends accentuating spatial, economic and social inequalities.
The purpose of this article is to examine the state of spatial disparities in Algeria using the principal component analysis applied to the departments.
Our approach consists in constructing a cartography drawn from the analysis of the levels of development of the departments of Algeria in order to understand the distribution of socio-economic data, and thus to detect the evolution of the spatial configuration of the national territory.

La question des inégalités a longtemps intéressé les décideurs et fait l'objet de leur débat public.
En Algérie, les écarts de développement entre les régions, soulignent d'importantes ruptures territoriales au niveau national, qui évoluent selon des tendances accentuant les inégalités spatiales, économiques et sociales.
L'objet de cet article est d'examiner l'état des disparités spatiales en Algérie à l'aide de l'analyse en composantes principales ACP appliquée sur les wilayas.
Notre démarche consiste à construire une cartographie dégagée de l'analyse des niveaux de développement des wilayas de l'Algérie afin de comprendre la répartition des données socio économiques, et de détecter ainsi l'évolution de la configuration spatiale du territoire national.
